🏕️ Fall Camp, Saturday 10/24/26 to Sunday 10/25/26 at Camp Hidden Valley, 268 Hidden Valley Rd, Loysville, PA 17047

Camping is "in tents!" Experience the fun of camping out for the night. Fun and games are planned throughout the day Saturday, along with a classic campfire in the evening. The Pack provides food and coordinates meal preparation. Some camping gear is available to loan for those who need it.
Arrive 9:00am Saturday; program begins at 10:00am
Departing 10:00am Sunday.
Don't want to stay overnight? Just come and spend the day Saturday!
Cost $20 per family for food and supplies; payment by cash, check, or Zelle to pack256pa@gmail.com
Only parents/legal guardians and siblings may camp overnight with their own Scouts. Alcohol, fireworks, weapons and pets are not permitted. Pocket knives permitted by Scouts only after completing knife safety adventure for the year (Bear, Webelos, AOL only).

🥫 Scouting for Food Collection, Saturday 11/14/26, 8:30am at FIPC

The second of two dates set aside to serve our community. Scouts from Troop 256 distributed door hangers on 11/7/26 asking neighbors to make food donations.
Now Cub Scouts and their families return to the same neighborhoods to pick up donations and package them for delivery to local food pantry.
Meet at FIPC for neighborhood assignments, then disperse to collect items
RSVP via Scoutbook or in the Scouting app

Awards and program for the entire Pack combined

Special guest Fast Boys Racing and their powerboat to see in person
"Recycled" rain gutter regatta building and then sailing your own creation using found materials
