🌞Scouts who participate in any three Scouting events in June, July and August earn the Summertime Fun elective adventure for their rank!

Coming Up:

🪖 Linglestown Memorial Day Parade, 5/25/26

Honoring those who died while serving in the United States armed forces.
Parade is a one-mile walking route through Lingelstown and ending at Koons Park.
Afterward joiin Pack 256 and Troop 256 for a pot luck picnic with brisket
Full Scouting uniform (including neckerchief) should be worn

🛝 Park Night, Thursday 6/18/26, 7:00pm at Stray Winds Park 3919 McIntosh Rd

Get together for free play, yard games, backyard bass, water balloons, and ice cream treats!

🇺🇸 Lower Paxton Independence Celebration, Saturday 7/4/26, 11:00am at Heroes Grove

Participants wanted for "Salute to the Flags" ceremony at 10:00am, Individual Scouts, in uniform, will accompany veterans and dignitaries during the ceremony.
Festival with games, vendors, and food trucks begins at 11:00am
Scouts and their friends have an opportunity to earn the "Liberty in Action" award

🦖 Twilight Adventure Camp Will be Dino-tastic, evenings 7/13/26 through 7/17/26 at Harrisburg Hunters & Anglers

Evening-only program for Cub Scouts and their Cub Scout-aged siblings
The camp offers a fun and educational experience designed for the whole family featuring a dinosaur theme for 2026

🚴 Bicycle Rodeo, Thursday 7/30/26 7:00pm at Faith Immanuel Presbyterian Church

Explore bike safety and try your skills in one of the challenges.
Attendees can also complete portions of the cycling elective adventure for their rank.
Bring along a bike, helmet, and a friend

⚾ Scout Night At the Harrisburg Senators vs. Richmond, Saturday 8/15/26, 6:00pm

Scouts are special guests and treated to a pre-game parade, patch, and opportunity to sleepover on the field and watch a movie on the outfield scoreboard
Pricing is as follows:
- $16.50 - box seat ticket
- $24.50 - box seat ticket + meal voucher
- $24.50 - box seat ticket + sleepover
- $32.50 - box seat ticket + meal voucher + sleepover
